Julius E. Trukositz, 64, Potlatch
     Julius E. Trukositz, 64, of Potlatch, passed away at his home Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012.
     Julius was born Nov. 18, 1947, in Orofino, to Matthew Trukositz and Nellie Grace Trukositz (Drube) of Greer, Idaho. Julius attended the first and second grade at Orofino Elementary School, then continued his education in Cottonwood, where he attended Prairie schools and graduated in 1966. Julius served in the military for 22 years total, serving a tour in Vietnam, where he was awarded the Purple Heart and many other service medals. After Julius retired in October 1990, he spent his time doing what he loved to do best, fishing, hunting, throwing darts and spending time with his family and friends.
     He is survived by his two sons and their mother; two brothers; sister; and also by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Wayne Dupea; and sister Arlene Hewitt.
     A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at Normal Hill Cemetery, 1122 Seventh St., Lewiston.
