Elizabeth Pierce, Lewiston
Elizabeth (Liz) Pierce of Lewiston passed away Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011, surrounded by her family and friends.
Elizabeth Jane DeForest was born Aug. 15, 1959, in Orofino. She graduated from Lewiston High School in 1977. Liz had a huge heart and believed in helping others, as she always did. Liz married, and they later divorced. She re-married on June 24, 1984.
Liz is survived by her husband; her sons and their families; her mother, of Kamiah; her sisters of Lewiston and Clarkston; her brothers of Kamiah and Lewiston; seven grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; many nieces and nephews; and great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Liz was preceded in death by her father, Gerald, and her stepfather, Gale Payton.
There will be a service for Liz's family and close friends at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Lewiston Community Center. Bring your favorite covered dish.
