Douglas H. Weinmann
Douglas H. Weinmann, 83, of Yakima, passed away Monday, Jan. 2, 2012. He was the third child born to Charles and Mary Weinmann, on June 29, 1928, in Ahsahka.
Douglas attended school in Lewiston, graduating in 1947. This was followed by studies in animal husbandry at the University of Idaho. He loved hands-on contact with farm animals and excelled in fitting and showing livestock in competition.
Most of his life was spent in auto sales in the greater Yakima valley area.
Survivors include two sons; two brothers; a sister; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Kathleen, Chuck and Dolores.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Jan. 22 at Valley Hills Funeral Home of Yakima.
