Dennis (Pete) Ray Peterson, 74, Lenore
Dennis (Pete) Ray Peterson, 74, of Lenore, passed away Sunday, Feb. 5, 2012.
Pete was born in Glasgow, Mont., and graduated from Admiral Farragut Naval Academy in Florida.
He learned his trade from his father while living in Venezuela, South America, for about six years. He was a master mechanic on the pipeline in various states for nearly 44 years.
Dennis (Pete) is survived by his sister of Jasper, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews from Jasper; and a good friend and companion. He was preceded in death by his parents, LeRoy and Margaret Peterson from Montana; and his wife of 35 years, Marilyn Peterson of Lenore.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Cottonwood Creek Community Church, 20706 Gifford Reubens Road, Culdesac.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the Humane Society in Lewiston.
